  UConn football coach Paul Pasqualoni has announced that 19 high school seniors signed National Letters of Intent on Tuesday to attend the University of Connecticut.   The University of Connecticut football team held its annual awards ceremony Sunday evening when the team had a dinner at The Burton Family Football Complex, honoring 10 student-athletes for their accomplishments this season.
• Four Former Huskies In One NFL Game
  For the first time in the history in the Univeristy of Connecticut football program, four former Huskies played in the same NFL game. It took place last Sunday, Dec. 3, as the New England Patriots topped the Indianapolis Colts by a score of 31-24.

  University of Connecticut senior center Moe Petrus, senior defensive lineman Kendall Reyes and senior kicker Dave Teggart have been named to the First Team All-BIG EAST Conference football team.
