• 2011 Football Season Wrap-Up
  Oregon State (3-9, 3-6 in Pac-12 overall) concluded its inaugural Pac-12 Conference season finishing in fifth-place in the North Division. The Beavers will return potentially 58 players for 2012 that have game experience, including 28 members who have at least started one game. Freshmen and sophomores accounted for 74 starts in 2011.

  Voting for the finals of the All-Star Performances of the Year are open, Intersport announced. Oregon State's Scott Crichton is a finalist for the Defensive Performance of the Year after winning Week 11 with his two sacks, five tackles and a forced fumble in OSU's 38-21 win against Washington.

  A crowd of over 350, mostly Oregon State student-athletes, attended the "Celebration of Life" for the late Fred Thompson of the Beavers' football team Thursday afternoon at the LaSells Stewart Center on campus.
• Brandon Hardin to Play in Shrine Game
  Oregon State University cornerback Brandon Hardin has been invited to play in the 87th East-West Shrine Game. The All-Star contest will be played at 1 p.m. PST Sat., Jan. 21 at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Fla., and will be televised live by the NFL Network.
