San Francisco 49ers vs. Miami Dolphins
On 1985 the Stanford Stadium which had played host to many NCAA football games would now showcase to the NFL biggest football game. San Francisco 49ers won the Super Bowl by defeating the Miami Dolphins 38 to 16. The San Francisco defense only allowed 25 rushing yards and 16 Dolphins points. With a completed 24 of 35 passes for a Super Bowl record 331 yards and three touchdowns, Joe Montana was named the MVP of the 1985 Super Bowl.
