In the Dolphin Stadium in Florida NFL history was made, when the Indianapolis Colts made their 1st appearance in a Super Bowl since 1970 , they defeated the Chicago Bears 29 to 17. Indianapolis quarterback Peyton Manning was named the game’s Most Valuable Player. Also the Superbowl XL was the first time two African-American head coaches (Lovie Smith and Tony Dungy) were coaching in the Super Bowl.
