• USC To Host 7-On-7 Football Summit
  In an effort to better understand the issues and challenges that have arisen from the fast-rising world of summer 7-on-7 high school football games, the USC athletic department is bringing together collegiate leaders and coaches for a summit themed "The Impact Of 7-On-7 Organizations On College Football Recruiting" on Tuesday, March 6, at the Galen Center.

  As the 2012 USC football team begins spring practice on Tuesday (March 6) for 15 sessions, there seems to be one overriding theme: "Unfinished business."
• Tee Martin Named USC Wide Receivers Coach
  Tee Martin, the quarterback for Tennessee's 1998 national championship team who then played in the NFL and has spent the past 6 years coaching, has been named wide receivers coach at USC, Trojan head coach Lane Kiffin announced today (Feb. 23).
• Marvin Sanders, Scottie Hazelton Named USC Assistant Football Coaches
  Marvin Sanders and Scottie Hazelton, who both have served as defensive coordinators at previous coaching stops, have been named assistant football coaches at USC, Trojan head coach Lane Kiffin announced today (Feb. 16). Sanders will be USC's secondary coach, while Hazelton will coach the Trojan linebackers.
• USC Football Announces 2012 Signing Class
  LOS ANGELES-Eleven high school football players and 1 junior college player signed to play with USC, Trojan head coach Lane Kiffin announced today (Feb. 1). Additionally, 3 high school players, a junior college player and a college transfer already enrolled at USC in January and will participate in the upcoming spring practice.

  Season tickets for the 2012 USC football season are now on sale. Fans can go to ReturnOfTroy.com, a new interactive football ticketing microsite, to purchase or renew season tickets.
• Lane Kiffin Named Southern California Coach Of The Year
  USC football coach Lane Kiffin has been named the 2011 Southern California Coach of the Year by the Los Angeles Sports Council and he will be presented with the award at the annual LA Sports Awards on March 15 at Club Nokia at L.A. Live.
• Florida Safety Josh Shaw Transfers To USC.
  Florida safety Josh Shaw has transferred to USC for the 2012 spring semester, USC head coach Lane Kiffin announced today (Jan. 11).
• Freshman Defensive Lineman DeVante Wilson Enrolls At USC
  DeVante Wilson, a 6-4, 235-pound defensive lineman from Corona (Calif.) High, has enrolled as a freshman at USC for the 2012 spring semester, Trojan head coach Lane Kiffin announced today.
• USC Football Coaches Clinic Set For Feb. 24 and 25
  The ninth annual USC Football/Nike Coach of the Year Southern California Coaches Clinic, offering all levels of football coaches exclusive expertise from USC head coach Lane Kiffin, his Trojan coaching staff and special guest speakers such as Oklahoma State head coach Mike Gundy and Michigan State head coach Mark Dantonio, will be held Feb. 24 and 25 at USC's Galen Center Pavilion (3400 So. Figueroa St.).
• 2012 USC Football Schedule Announced
  The 2012 USC football schedule has been announced by the Pac-12 Conference. The Trojans, coming off a 10-2 season that saw them finish first in the Pac-12 South Division and earn a No. 5 national ranking, will play 6 homes games in the Coliseum in 2012. Overall, USC--which is expected to enter the season ranked high nationally--will face 8 teams that played in a bowl this year, 6 teams that won at least 7 games in 2011 and 4 squads that will be guided by new coaches.

• USC Football Signs Two High School Players
  LOS ANGELES--Two talented high school football players¬-linebacker Scott Starr of Norco (Calif.) High and offensive tackle Chad Wheeler of Santa Monica (Calif.) High¬-have signed with USC, head coach Lane Kiffin announced today (Dec. 21). Both Starr and Wheeler will graduate from high school a semester early in order to enroll at USC in January as freshmen and participate in 2012 spring practice.
• Football Signs Two Junior College Standouts
  LOS ANGELES--Junior college standouts Gerald Bowman and Morgan Breslin have signed letters of intent with USC, Trojan head coach Lane Kiffin announced today (Dec. 21). Bowman is a 6-1, 215-pound safety from Los Angeles Pierce Junior College in Woodland Hills (Calif.) and Breslin is a 6-3, 245-pound defensive end from Diablo Valley Junior College in Pleasant Hill (Calif.).
• Kalil, Woods, McDonald Are All-American First Teamers
  Three USC football players--junior offensive tackle Matt Kalil, sophomore wide receiver Robert Woods and junior safety T.J. McDonald--have been named to various 2011 All-American first teams. Also, five Trojan freshmen--wide receiver Marqise Lee, linebackers Dion Bailey and Hayes Pullard, offensive guard Marcus Martin and placekicker Andre Heidari--were selected to various 2011 Freshman All-American first teams.
