SATURDAY WEEK 15 COLLEGE FOOTBALL PICKS
One of the most famous rivalries in all of NCAA football is the yearly matchup between the Army football team and the Navy football team, called the Army/Navy Game. During the 2010 this popular college football game, the Navy continued their winning streak by topping the Army 31-17. The Navy are currently ahead in the overall record, but the Army isn’t far behind and could turn the momentum in their favor for 2011.
Army/Navy Game history makes it one of the most anticipated events in NCAA football all season. The first Army/Navy Game was played in 1890, and since then the Army and Navy football teams have squared off for bragging rights every season.
Army/Navy Game location isn’t set in stone, but it is often played at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Lincoln Financial Field tends to be the default location of the Army/Navy Game, although the teams sometimes square off elsewhere.
